EZ Filing is an online service that helps those who want to file their business type online. The web application is based on responsive design.

The Problem
Knowing how to choose and file your business type legally can very intimidating.
The Goal
The goal is to educate and simplify the process of filing one’s business type legally.
My Role
Lead UX designer, UX researcher, and Visual Designer from concept to delivery.
Responsibilities
Researched problems and created flows and solutions from collected insights. UX wireframing to prototyping. Concept and creation of design.
User Research
Summary
I conducted an unmoderated usability study to see how useful this app would be. All, adults (18+ yrs.), found that the web app would be very useful for one looking to achieve the goal of filing a business legally.

Impact
This web application will help users easily and legally file their business type. Also, the web application will educate a user about all of the business filing type that exists in their area. With guidance, a user will be confident in legally filing on their own with out the costs and needs of a lawyer.
What I learned
I learned is that users want to learn and make educated decisions with the help of the application. The empowerment the application provides is incredible.
